Welcome to Sunhouse Gundogs

Based in Leominster, Herefordshire, Ruth, Doug and Rebecca Martin. We have over 45 years experience of breeding and showing, and have acquired a wealth of knowledge in each of these three breeds. Ruth is a Championship show judge approved to award CC's in English Setters, German Wirehaired Pointers, German Shorthaired Pointers, Pointers, Clumber Spaniels, English Springer Spaniels and Weimaraners and was honoured to judge English Setters at CRUFTS 2017 having already judged the German Wirehaired Pointers at CRUFTS 2004. Doug is also approved to award CC's in English Setters and German Wirehaired Pointers.

In 2001 our daughter Rebecca joined the Sunhouse affix in her own right and carries on our breeding programme breeding Pointers. From this small select kennel we have produced Champions or Show Champions in each of our chosen breeds, including the foundation stock of many of the current kennels.

We breed for type, conformation, soundness and good temperament.
